Update Smart Service now to get text messaging, payment processing, and more.

We’ve been busy. So far this year, the Smart Service team has added a ton of awesome new content to our software. We’ve listed some of the highlights below. Read on to discover all the new features, then hit one of the Update Now buttons on this page to put them into action.

Text Messaging

New text messaging features allow Smart Service users to send their customers SMS messages to remind them of upcoming appointments, and to inform them when a technician starts traveling to their location. Office dispatchers can even conduct ongoing text conversations with customers, all within Smart Service! Learn more about our text messaging update.

Payment Processing

Smart Service now features its own merchant service, allowing you to collect payments in the office and field, in the same software system you use for scheduling, dispatching, customer management, and accounting. To start collecting payments in Smart Service and iFleet, simply fill out the form on this page. One of our reps will then follow up with you to complete the signup process.

New, Sleek Design

At the end of last year, Smart Service received a complete graphical overhaul. Every screen got redesigned from the ground up to provide a more intuitive, enjoyable user experience. We also upgraded the behind-the-scenes tools that power Smart Service, increasing performance and speed across the board. Learn more about our new design.

How do I check if I have the latest Smart Service update?

Inside Smart Service, click on the Help tab (1), then About (2). Check your version number (3) against the version number on our Updates page. If they match, awesome! You’re up to date. If they don’t, click here to update Smart Service.

How do I update Smart Service?

Click here to download the latest version of Smart Service, then follow the instructions in the installer. Note that you’ll need to contact us (by phone or email) for an install password part way through the process.
